WALKING UPRIGHTLY Min: Lord, who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill? He who walks uprightly, And works righteousness, And speaks the truth in his heart. Min: He who does not backbite with his tongue, Nor does evil to his neighbor, Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend. In whose eyes a vile person is despised, But he honors those who fear the Lord; He who swears to his own hurt and does not change. Min: He who does not put out his money at usury, Nor does he take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved. Blessed is he who considers the poor; The Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. Min: The Lord will preserve him and keep him alive, And he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The Lord will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed. Min: As for me, You uphold me in my integrity, And set me before Your face forever. Blessed be the Lord God of Israel From everlasting to everlasting! Amen and Amen.
